I love to enter into a space and see the potential of it! I know that working alongside the owner or seller to delve into their lifestyle, dreams and wishes of the space…that’s when the magic will happen
After many years of drafting and designing for others and for her own personal spaces, Frances Hudye decided to launch a career and fulfill her passion for decorating and interior design. Her past projects have included a full scale model of a home she not only designed and built but later designed remodeled decorated and sold for hundreds of thousands more than building cost.
We help clients close the sale of their home by beautifully staging their home to appeal to the buyers of that demographic area. We use emotional connections with potential buyers along with working within a clients budget. The end product can be a Home, an Office or a Stage.
Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta I understand Calgary, the people, and the demographics of this beautiful and wonderful city.

We offer a range of customizable decorating and design services for home owners who would like our help redesigning their homes to live in. We understand that decorating a home for living is very different than the marketing approach we take for selling and we focus on creating beautiful spaces that are tailored to the styles and needs of our clients.
Let’s Get Started!
This service focuses on creating a cohesive color palette for your home that works with your existing furnishings and decor. This type of consultation includes an hour with one of our stylists to create a customized painting plan for up to 3 principle rooms. Flat Fee: $150 + GST
This is a comprehensive consult which focuses on all elements of design and decorating in up to 3 principle rooms. We discuss color palettes, furnishings & decor, lighting, architectural elements and offer design suggestions. This consultation includes 2 hours with one of our consultants and a customized Houzz ideabook for the client with design concepts and ideas. Flat Fee: $250 + GST
Add a customized design board and floor plan with furniture layout to your design consultation for an additional fee.
Our consultants know where to shop for all the finishes, fixtures and furnishings to make your project come together! Hire our stylists to shop for your design needs and ensure that your design vision is fully realized. Not only can we help you find exactly what you want, we can pass along our designer discounts to you!
Francesca Interiors has worked with many property investors to help them update and stage their houses for maximum return. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a new investor, we offer our expertise so that the property’s appearance justifies it’s list price. Here are the ways we can help:

Occupied Staging & Design
$500 – Consultation and Detailed Staging Report
In this intensive and fun two-hour consultation, we will be using a detailed Staging Report/Checklist to write down everything that needs to be done to get the home the best price possible!
- We start with a phone interview, so I can research your buyer demographic and prepare for our Consultation time
- Using a photo-filled, detailed staging checklist we walk through the home and discuss optimal, BIG return-on-investment, staging strategies that are designed to have big, emotional impact on your buyers
- The detailed report also includes my essential “Open House Checklist” and “Closet Organization Checklist”
(Up to two hours in the home with any additional hours reverting to a $125 hourly rate)
Vacant Home Staging Solutions
Home’s that are empty are in special need of staging and here is where we shine! We provide options that other staging companies do not…
- Starting with a home assessment, we deliver a proposal that provides a Good, Better, Best option to fit every budget
- We use top quality furnishings in order to achieve that model home look that guarantees a buyer will “fall in love”

Warning – Not all vacant staging is equal!
Not every home stager has the furnishings and accessories to pull together model home looking spaces! Make sure to check the stager’s portfolio and never go with the lowest price proposal since you usually get what you pay for.

Fix & Flip Consultation
for homes where the work has yet to be started. We will help you create a PLAN to make the property saleable and to maximize your investment
Detailed Staging Quote
so that the key selling areas in the home are furnished. This will ensure your property models the lifestyle buyers are searching for and is highly marketable.
Design hours with an experienced stylists
to select the fixtures and finishes which will impress your target buyers. We help put all the pieces together so that the finished product is both beautiful and memorable.
FAQs
Statistics show that staged homes sell better than homes that are not staged or are left empty. They stay on the market for less time and have less showings, all an advantage to you the Home Seller. With less showings and a quicker sale you are able to move on to your new home with comfort and ease. It is stressful selling your home and preparing it for the market and realtor suggestions are not always the correct ones as they are not certified Home Stagers and are not experts in this field. That’s where we come in. We will help to Why not let us do the work for you and take away any uncertainty you have. Staging your home is way more valuable than taking a price reduction and allows for a quick and lucrative sale. Having your home stay on the market for too long is extremely stressful and will end up costing you more money.
As a rule, the longer your home sits on the market, the less interested buyers become, and the more interested agents become in a price reduction. Buyers assume that when houses sit on the market, there must be something wrong with it and they feel no urgency to make an offer. Your best chance to get top dollar for your home is in the first weeks of being on the market. We can help you do that!
At Francesca Interiors we will first come into your home, chat with you and discus how are services operate and decide whether you wand carefully looking around taking mental note on your lifestyle, your family, your tastes, colours etc. We will then take another walk through and carefully check decide what changes will get you the best return on your home investment. Once we leave, you will be left with clear suggestions on what needs to be done.
At the end of the consultation it will become clearer to you as to whether you want to tackle the Home Staging or have us do it for you. We charge $500.00 for up to two hours of a consultation and $125.00/hour for anything over 2 hours. Consultations can take anywhere from 1 – 4 hours depending on your home. As your Home Stagers, we specialize in objectively seeing your home through the eyes of potential buyers. We will tour your home and carefully decide We will leave you with clear suggestions that once carried out will make your home stand out in the market and get you the quick and lucrative sale you are after. Consultations generally take 1 to 3 hours.
If your home was staged by someone else, or your home is on the market and is not selling for whatever reason, we can help. No need to worry! This is where we come in. We will objectively have a look at your home and then offer suggestions on what needs to be done, added or removed. It will then be up to you to decide whether you want to do the changes yourself or have us come back and do them for you. Although you are looking at another consultation, keep in mind that staging often costs less than the first price reduction, and adds real value to your home.
Staging a vacant home is ALWAYS a good idea! An empty house comes across as uninviting and down right cold. We can turn that around. Starting with a consultation, a budget and a plan we will bring in furniture and accessories to create a warm and inviting look.
Over 90% of people cannot imagine what a house could look like with furniture in it and they have nothing to compare their own furnishings to in an empty space. It is a well known fact that rooms look smaller empty than properly furnished. With nothing to focus on except the bare space, the negatives will become more apparent to prospective buyers.
